What is freelance work?

It is when the student can correctly relate the approach of the task with the methods to follow to perform it, when you can apply their knowledge and skills to do it without the need for the teacher to intervene directly to guide each detail, is the one that is carried out without the direct participation of the teacher, but with the orientation of the same, in a set time and during which the students consciously strive to achieve the stated objectives manifesting in one way or another the results of their physical or mental activity (or both) .

 Stages of independent work

1st Stage

 Develop independent activities to consolidate reading habits, note taking skills, independent work in the library to make cards of different types and learn to work with the catalog.

2nd Stage

Independent work to develop reading skills, analysis, synthesis and content values. Improve the skills of taking notes and continue work in the library.

3rd Stage

Develop reading comprehension skills according to the author's purpose and determine and interpret the content of the text based on their communicative functions.

4th Stage

Independent work for the development of the skills of obtaining information and total comprehension, as well as its corresponding interpretation, from different sources of information, is one of the most effective means of cognitive activity of the student, where the student reaches a higher level of scientific deepening and develops general and professional skills that teaching cannot give you in a finished way.

Classification of Contingent Employment 

 

Reproductive Work: These works presuppose information about the activity but not about the procedure to be followed.

Productive Work: Here students apply the habits and skills acquired in the subject during the collection of information from bibliographic sources, such as Encyclopedias, specialized journals.

Creative Work: In this case students do not face different situations that require the application of knowledge and independent work procedures previously acquired, for example, the performance of written works based on the search of information in various sources of references.
